Build and maintain on-device LLM software that transforms live neuromonitoring signals into actionable clinical insights. Responsibilities include AI integration, model evaluation, prompting, guardrails, inference optimization, medical device software development, cybersecurity and regulatory compliance, and fleet reliability. The role requires close collaboration with hardware, product, and clinical teams while ensuring safe, reliable performance on constrained hardware.

Serve as technical authority for signal processing and ML for CoMind One: define methodologies, develop and validate algorithms for cerebral blood flow, intracranial pressure, and autoregulation, drive data collection and labelling, produce regulatory evidence, publications and patents, and represent data science across R&D, clinical, and engineering teams. Senior individual contributor based in Kings Cross (4 days/week onsite).

Lead and execute laboratory, phantom, benchtop, and in-vivo experiments for non-invasive optical neuromonitoring. Own experimental workstreams from protocol design to analysis and reporting, develop and validate tissue-mimicking phantoms, acquire physiological optical data, troubleshoot systems, generate datasets to support product development and ML, and communicate findings to cross-functional teams while mentoring junior staff.
