Lead and manage complex corporate insurance transactions (M&A, joint ventures, restructurings, portfolio/Part VII transfers). Advise on UK/EU insurance regulatory matters, act as senior client contact, supervise and mentor junior lawyers, support business development and thought leadership, and collaborate on cross-border, multidisciplinary matters.

Provide financial insight, analysis and decision support to departmental leaders. Own budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, performance analysis, commercial modelling, scenario planning and business cases. Partner with BD, COOs and working capital teams to drive profitability, support business development, and deliver recovery plans and continuous improvement.

Advise clients on sanctions, financial crime, and regulatory investigations, handling multi-jurisdictional matters. Conduct risk assessments, internal investigations, licensing applications, voluntary disclosures, regulator engagement, and litigation risk management. Collaborate with international counsel and multidisciplinary teams to deliver pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice for insurers, financial institutions and corporates.

Lead strategic growth for professional services and insurance practices by developing BD plans, driving client engagement, managing key accounts, coaching partners, coordinating global BD activity, leading pitches and RFPs, and managing a BD team to hit revenue and client development targets.

Advise international and domestic clients on complex insurance, reinsurance, and regulatory matters focused on the Bermuda Form. Manage high-value coverage disputes, litigation and arbitration, regulatory compliance (including BMA), transactional work, client relationships, and mentor junior lawyers while supporting team growth.

Lead strategic client development and opportunity conversion for priority commodities clients globally. Own account plans, drive pipeline management and high-value pitches, provide market insight, and partner with senior lawyers to translate sector strategy into revenue while coordinating marketing, thought leadership and cross-region collaboration.

Handle complex marine recovery and cargo claims from inception to resolution across sea, road, rail and air; manage litigation, arbitration and ADR; draft pleadings and settlement agreements; advise insurers, carriers and logistics providers on transportation liability; manage client relationships; supervise junior lawyers and support business development.

Coordinate workplace and facilities services including admin support, invoice and PO processing, deliveries, contractors scheduling, health & safety inspections and audits, Eptura system management, office moves and desk setups, and act as a primary client-facing contact to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Lead end-to-end global payroll outsourcing transformation, managing project lifecycle, stakeholders, vendors, risk, governance, process improvements, integrations, training and post-go-live support to deliver a scalable, compliant payroll operating model across multiple jurisdictions.

Lead pricing strategy and financial analysis for UK practices, develop fee proposals and RFP responses, manage rate cards and renewals, implement pricing tools and processes, audit fee compliance, and deliver data visualizations and insights to partners and business development to improve profitability.

Provide administrative and file management support for the Real Estate team: manage electronic and paper files, assist with file opening/closing, support client and marketing activities, organise events, prepare court bundles and client data rooms, handle billing/expense administration, and liaise with Practice Assistants, Hub Leaders and fee earners to prioritise work and ensure compliance with firm procedures.

Provide paralegal support on marine and cargo recovery matters: manage claims, review evidence, draft correspondence and witness statements, handle court procedure and filings, conduct legal research, liaise with clients and overseas counsel, prepare bundles and case summaries, and assist with billing and matter administration.
