Develop and support scalable, cloud-native FX cross-border payments and custody applications. Design system architecture, write and test Java software, modernize legacy platforms, improve development practices, and provide third-line production support. Collaborate with sales, trading, quantitative, and product teams to deliver data-driven solutions. The role also includes mentoring engineers, troubleshooting systems, maintaining documentation, and implementing technologies such as messaging, caching, Kubernetes, and AI coding tools.

Design, develop, test, and support high-performance frontend applications for global electronic trading and algorithmic trading platforms. Build real-time data visualizations for pricing, order books, and trade blotters using streaming data and modern UI frameworks. Provide technical oversight, optimize performance and latency, follow application lifecycle and governance standards, and collaborate with technology and product teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Lead development of ultra-low-latency trading systems and application frameworks using Rust and Java. Build and optimize event-sourced microservices supporting algorithmic trading, market data replay, and backtesting. Analyze complex systems, integrate new functions, tune performance, and work with Linux, JVM, networking protocols, and kernel-bypass technologies. Serve as a subject matter expert, collaborate with senior stakeholders, document architecture, and mentor developers across Citi’s Markets Technology teams.
