Supports the Compliance team in maintaining the group’s regulatory framework across UK, Lloyd’s, EU, and overseas jurisdictions. Responsibilities include regulatory horizon scanning, impact assessments, compliance timetables, regulatory applications and returns, policy maintenance, Senior Managers and Certification Regime administration, licensing assessments, regulatory communications, risk assessments, training, and stakeholder coordination. The role requires insurance regulatory knowledge, strong organization, communication, accuracy, and Microsoft Office proficiency.

Leads Chaucer’s Architecture Domain and enterprise design authority function. Defines technology strategy, architecture roadmaps, reference and target-state architectures, and architectural governance. Oversees solution design and assurance across transformation initiatives while embedding security, resilience, compliance, and responsible AI practices. Advises executives on technology investments, manages internal and third-party architecture resources, mentors Domain Architects, and coordinates across engineering, security, data, product, and service management teams.

Supports strategic financial decision-making through budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, driver-based modeling, scenario analysis, capital and balance-sheet analysis, and profitability assessment. Prepares insights and recommendations for executive and Board-level decisions, coordinates Group GAAP planning, and challenges assumptions across finance, actuarial, capital modeling, and business-partnering teams. Maintains model controls and audit trails while improving planning and reporting processes.
