Manages catastrophe exposure analytics, portfolio stochastic and deterministic appetites, outwards reinsurance netting, net portfolio blueprints, regulatory returns, and post-event analysis. Leads the Analytics and Regulatory team, supports catastrophe model validation, improves dashboards and processes, and communicates complex statistical and insurance insights to senior stakeholders. Requires catastrophe modelling or actuarial experience, people management, simulation platform expertise, SQL, advanced Excel, and strong knowledge of insurance, reinsurance, probability, and statistics.

Supports underwriting operations through mailbox monitoring, KPI and CRM tracking, workflow data entry, policy record maintenance, exception handling, reporting, debt analysis, business partner coordination, and UAT support. The role also assists underwriting teams, maintains procedure manuals, prepares meeting materials, and addresses operational queries while ensuring data accuracy, timely processing, and adherence to service-level expectations.

Supports the processing, reconciliation, collection, and settlement of insurance and reinsurance accounts. Investigates discrepancies, resolves settlement queries, reduces aged debt and unallocated cash, liaises with brokers and reinsurers, maintains data quality and procedures, and contributes to continuous improvement within Chaucer’s Credit Control and Treaty team.
