Lead architecture and implementation of Chainguard Repository services: build and operate high-availability backend systems in Go, design package registries and APIs, drive scalability, reliability, observability, and mentor engineers while partnering across teams to expand artifact support.

Lead architecture and strategy for Athena: build production-grade distributed systems that validate, deduplicate, and route vulnerability data; move prototypes to reliable, observable pipelines; set technical standards, scale the team, and partner on product and operational decisions.

Own and build core backend components in Go on GCP, including customer onboarding, entitlement logic, and data ingestion pipelines. Drive ambiguous features from design to production with testing and observability, participate in on-call rotations, lead multi-engineer efforts, review code, and contribute Terraform and GCP operational tooling.
