The Modernisation Sales Engineer will drive HVAC modernization sales across the UK by identifying bid opportunities, preparing proposals and quotations, negotiating with clients, developing leads, and managing key accounts. The role involves selling technical turnkey solutions, building customer relationships, collaborating with sales and business development teams, attending industry events, and autonomously managing client engagements and multiple projects.

Develops regional HVAC specification opportunities from early design through commercial conversion. Builds relationships with consultants, engineers, contractors, developers, architects, and customers; promotes Carrier solutions; provides technical support, presentations, workshops, and documentation; tracks project pipelines and competitor activity; and collaborates with sales, engineering, product, and project teams to win business.

Leads the growth and delivery of modernization and advanced control solution projects across Europe. Identifies installed-base opportunities, develops growth strategies, coordinates sales, technical, project, and partner teams, and manages initiatives from opportunity identification through customer acceptance. Promotes digital, connected, and energy optimization solutions while achieving revenue, profitability, operational performance, and customer satisfaction targets. Builds long-term customer relationships and supports recurring service revenue growth.
