Lead and mentor a nursery room team, delivering high-quality early years care and education. Support children’s development and milestones, promote safeguarding, health and safety, and build effective partnerships with colleagues, parents, carers, and professionals. Maintain an inclusive learning environment while meeting EYFS and legislative requirements.

Lead, mentor, and support nursery staff while helping deliver high-quality early years education and care. Ensure child welfare, safeguarding, health and safety, and legislative compliance. Build strong relationships with colleagues, parents, carers, and external professionals; support children’s individual needs; and act as Designated Safeguarding Lead when required. The role also involves nursery promotion, occupancy growth, and engagement with the Local Authority.

Lead the day-to-day operation of a 66-place nursery, ensuring outstanding childcare, education, safeguarding, regulatory compliance, and service quality. Manage and develop staff, support recruitment and retention, build effective relationships with parents and colleagues, oversee performance and finances, and implement commercial growth plans. Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead and prepare the nursery for regulatory inspections.
