An 11-week finance and risk internship supporting bp’s trading and shipping business. Interns may work in commodity risk, market risk, structured trade finance, or credit risk, analyzing trading positions, exposures, portfolios, counterparties, liquidity, and financial performance. Responsibilities include independent project work, risk reporting, control activities, collaboration with internal teams and external partners, and constructive challenge of trading activity.

Support subsurface technology R&D by combining reservoir engineering, Python, data science, machine learning, AI, analytics, and high-performance computing. Develop and deploy code to automate and parallelize subsurface workflows, improve reservoir uncertainty characterization, support regional teams, and provide technical assistance for deployed solutions. The internship is full-time, hybrid, and based in Sunbury, UK.

Eleven-week finance internship involving independent project work, performance support, cross-functional collaboration, and relationship building. Potential placements include accounting, reporting and control, audit, business finance, or treasury. Interns receive mentoring, training, and exposure to financial reporting, internal controls, commercial insight, financing, and risk management.
