Serve as senior in-house counsel delivering corporate legal strategy, governance, M&A, restructurings, joint ventures and cross-border projects. Provide proactive business-focused advice, draft and review legal documents, manage complex multi-jurisdictional matters, train non-legal colleagues, and partner with regional teams to mitigate risk and enable business objectives.

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, secure Java backend services and APIs. Ensure reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency across microservices, databases, messaging systems, and capacity planning. Troubleshoot, profile, benchmark, and optimize systems (including ML applications) and collaborate with Kazakhstan stakeholders.

Lead legal subject matter expert for global financial crime matters including sanctions, AML/CFT, ABC, fraud, and market abuse. Provide authoritative legal advice, manage regulatory and law-enforcement engagement, oversee investigations and enforcement responses, advise on product and market-entry risks, manage external counsel, develop policies and training, and monitor global regulatory developments.
