Coordinate end-to-end bid and tender submissions, including monitoring procurement portals, managing deadlines, maintaining opportunity trackers, coordinating stakeholder contributions, controlling documents, and ensuring accurate, compliant submissions. Leads financial planning and commercial performance analysis for the Southern Region. Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, investment appraisal, management accounts, KPI reporting, variance analysis, operational benchmarking, and performance improvement planning. Partners with senior finance and operational leaders, conducts site visits, challenges assumptions, supports decision-making, and maintains strong financial controls, delegated authorities, and balance sheet processes. The role also works with Internal Audit to identify and mitigate financial risks.

Manage group consolidation, consolidated and subsidiary financial statements, technical accounting papers, IFRS compliance, accounting policies, and year-end audits. Liaise with finance teams and external auditors, resolve accounting queries, support new accounting standards implementation, and contribute to entity rationalization. Ensure statutory reporting meets UK regulatory deadlines and complies with UK GAAP and the Companies Act 2006.

Manages contract data integrity, performance reporting, KPI and SLA monitoring, governance, compliance, audits, and continuous improvement. Produces dashboards and management information, analyzes operational performance, identifies risks and root causes, supports corrective action plans, and coordinates compliance documentation, training records, health and safety requirements, environmental obligations, and external accreditation audits.

Lead requirements discovery and definition, document Features and User Stories in Azure DevOps, plan and deliver BA activities across projects, engage stakeholders, facilitate workshops, support feasibility and business cases, drive process analysis and improvement, coordinate UAT, manage backlogs and contribute to BA standards.

Support regional management by delivering budgeting, forecasting, management accounts, variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, audit responses, and driving efficiency and CAPEX/cashflow oversight through business partnering and site visits.

Provides commercial finance insight to sales and operational stakeholders, supporting tenders, new business decisions, profitability analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting. Leads sales incentive calculations and governance while identifying process, automation, and data improvements using Excel, Power BI, and SharePoint. The role requires strong financial modelling, commercial judgement, stakeholder influence, and communication skills, with occasional travel to company sites.
