Develop, maintain and test C++ embedded firmware and software for an autonomous underwater drone control system. Build CI/VCS infrastructure, create Docker-based snapshots for stress testing, design test plans, implement new modules and interfaces, document designs, and support trials. Work in an Agile-inspired team with possible domestic and international travel.

Design and optimise bespoke unmanned underwater vehicles (UUVs), produce detailed designs and specifications, run computational and physical evaluations, build prototypes, select materials, and plan and execute sea trials. Support some surface vessel (USV) design and ongoing product development cycles.

Design, prototype, test, manufacture and commission autonomous mechatronic handling systems for offshore vessels. Specify sensors/actuators, perform risk/safety assessments, maintain technical documentation, run design reviews, and support domestic and international manufacturing and testing activities.
