Supports international sales operations by managing customer orders, tracking stock and delivery data, processing orders in SAP, producing Excel reports, checking claims, and coordinating with Production, Inventory, customers, and global colleagues to meet deadlines and publication schedules.

Manage Penguin Press sales across UK and international markets, including key retail account relationships, global product leadership, sales support, budgeting, reporting, and deputising for the Sales Director. The role involves collaborating with editorial, marketing, publicity, and international sales teams to maximise title performance, communicate market opportunities, and support retail partners and sales colleagues.

Supports the Hamish Hamilton publishing team with editorial and administrative duties across the book process, from acquisition through publication. Responsibilities include reading submissions, providing feedback, writing cover copy, maintaining title data, clearing permissions, coordinating proofs and author materials, processing invoices, arranging travel, and liaising with authors, agents, and colleagues. The role requires strong organisation, communication, attention to detail, time management, and a genuine interest in books, ideas, culture, and politics.
