Lead the preschool room team in delivering high-quality early education and care. Plan age-appropriate activities, safeguard children, support wellbeing, build relationships with families and colleagues, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with nursery standards. The role requires Early Years Professional status or an equivalent Level 6 qualification in Early Childhood Education, alongside strong knowledge of child development, safeguarding, leadership, and communication.

Designs and delivers face-to-face, virtual, and on-site training for nursery teams; develops practical learning materials and induction programmes; coaches leaders, monitors training effectiveness, supports regulatory inspection readiness, and partners with Compliance to address network-wide development priorities.

Lead and manage a nursery room ensuring policies, ratios, registers, health & safety, safeguarding, and hygiene are followed. Administer first aid/medication, complete risk assessments and documentation, support settling-in processes, liaise with parents, and guide staff to deliver a play-based curriculum.
