Support AXIS quarterly reserving process: produce reserving estimates, peer-review product line analyses, validate actuarial estimates, support reserve meetings, develop diagnostics/reports, assist in deep-dive projects and annual planning, and provide cross-functional support to Finance, Risk, and Investments.

Lead handling of professional indemnity and other liability claims from first notice to settlement. Manage reserves, coverage analysis, resolution strategy, TPAs and external counsel, liaise with underwriters, brokers and clients, and contribute to claims MI and performance projects.

Lead end-to-end pricing for complex, multi-class insurance portfolios. Partner with underwriters to design and optimise portfolio structures, assess pricing adequacy, monitor portfolio performance, develop benchmarks and pricing tools, derive expected loss ratios for planning, and mentor junior actuaries. Provide clear recommendations on deal structure, pricing, and capital efficiency while supporting governance and cross-functional collaboration.
