Leads competitive intelligence and analysis for AstraZeneca’s oncology R&D pipeline. Delivers clinical and commercial insights, evaluates the evolving oncology landscape, informs therapy-area strategy and investment decisions, and communicates recommendations to senior leadership. Supports haematology brand strategy execution by coordinating cross-functional projects, campaigns, promotional materials, approval workflows, suppliers, budgets, and performance reporting. The role maintains compliant asset libraries, manages Veeva PromoMats processes, improves operational delivery, and collaborates with Brand, Medical, Oncology Business Excellence, agencies, and internal stakeholders.

Leads enterprise Data and AI risk management across strategic, operational, ethical, and regulatory domains. Establishes governance, operating models, risk appetite alignment, reporting, controls, remediation, and escalation processes. Advises executives on complex AI use cases, embeds risk management into delivery practices, and oversees compliance initiatives involving the EU AI Act, US Data Security Program, and other regulations. Builds global teams and partners with Legal, Compliance, Cyber Security, Privacy, Internal Audit, and business leaders to enable responsible AI deployment.

Leads enterprise Data and AI risk management across governance, regulatory compliance, data protection, AI governance, risk appetite, assurance, and Enterprise Risk Management reporting. Advises senior stakeholders, facilitates risk assessments, oversees controls and remediation, develops risk dashboards and executive narratives, and manages cross-functional initiatives involving frameworks such as the EU AI Act, GDPR, NIS2, and NIST AI RMF.

Lead strategic planning and execution for the UK GI oncology portfolio across hepatobiliary and oesophagogastric cancers. Use customer, clinical, market and performance insights to shape priorities, optimise omnichannel engagement, improve customer journeys and drive measurable impact. Manage agencies, budgets, timelines and governance while ensuring ABPI compliance. Collaborate cross-functionally in an agile, data-led environment and identify opportunities to simplify, innovate and enhance patient and customer outcomes.

Develop and execute UK market access, pricing, and funding strategies for AstraZeneca medicines. Co-lead HTA submissions, shape evidence strategies, engage NICE, NHS, and other stakeholders, respond to policy consultations, build payer value propositions, and ensure compliance with pharmaceutical governance requirements.

Own the global Oncology R&D portfolio strategy, integrating clinical, scientific, commercial, regulatory, competitive, and market access insights. Advise senior executives on investment priorities, portfolio optimization, risks, and tradeoffs. Lead cross-functional collaboration across clinical development, discovery, business development, and other enterprise functions. Generate rigorous data-driven insights, establish strategic best practices, influence stakeholders without formal authority, and communicate priorities clearly across global teams.
