Advises senior leaders, develops ER policies and governance, analyses case trends, supports organisational change, manages legal and operational risk, partners with trade unions, and coaches HR colleagues and managers. Ensures compliant, consistent and commercially balanced employee relations practices while improving engagement, manager capability and organisational effectiveness.

Monitor and regulate London bus services in a 24/7 control environment. Communicate with drivers, use GPS and control systems, respond to disruptions, make real-time operational decisions, and ensure compliance with TfL performance and safety standards. The role includes paid training, mentorship, shift work, and progression opportunities.

Develops competitive TfL bus route tender submissions, financial models, costings, business cases, and commercial proposals. Analyzes financial, operational, market, and competitor data; reviews contract performance; supports tender strategy, negotiations, route mobilization, claims, and revenue processes. The role also identifies process automation opportunities and presents clear recommendations to senior stakeholders while working with TfL and internal Commercial, Operations, and Finance teams.

Maintain and repair buses, PSVs, vehicles, and engineering equipment through preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, repairs, modifications, and upgrades. Interpret technical documentation, maintain accurate records, follow DVSA and safety standards, support fleet reliability, and contribute to workshop improvements. Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and apprentices while collaborating with workshop and operations teams.
