Lead and establish ARQ's security function in Brazil across application security, security operations, and GRC. Drive threat modelling, secure code review, API and AI/agentic workflow assessments, SIEM detection and response (Datadog, CrowdStrike, Cloudflare), incident response readiness, cloud security (AWS, Kubernetes), and vendor security assessments.

Design, build, and deploy machine learning models to detect fraud, prevent losses, and monitor risk. Work with Product, Engineering, and Operations to turn large-scale data into production-ready pipelines and model-serving solutions, monitor performance, and continuously improve model accuracy and business impact.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems for fintech products. Build REST APIs and microservices, improve existing systems (payments, treasury, transactions, crypto), and use Java, Spring Boot, and Postgres. Follow TDD, DDD, and CI/CD practices to deliver maintainable, high-performance services.
