Teams at Amentum

Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams delivering complex nuclear-sector projects from FEED through commissioning. Act as Architect Engineer, owning technical challenges, engineering strategies, stakeholder interfaces, safety-case alignment, technical risks, and solution delivery. Support project managers with resourcing, costs, schedules, and change control while managing projects across bidding, requirements, design, implementation, and commissioning. The role requires leadership in highly regulated or nuclear environments and collaboration with stakeholders across the UK.

Leads and improves Request for Information and Field Change Request processes, including governance, KPI monitoring, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement. Translates process requirements into tool specifications, supports system testing and deployment, chairs accountability meetings, and drives compliance and adoption across teams. The role supports nuclear power and major infrastructure programmes.

Develops and reviews nuclear safety cases, assessments, technical calculations, reports, and engineering arguments demonstrating safe facility operation and regulatory compliance. Leads HAZID and HAZOP studies, evaluates hazards and faults, supports nuclear licensing, engages with clients, regulators, and technical stakeholders, and mentors junior engineers. The role requires experience in highly regulated operational environments, knowledge of nuclear plant systems or structures, and familiarity with relevant design standards and assessment guidelines.
