The role manages stakeholders, promotes innovation and low-carbon solutions, mentors engineers, and contributes to water-sector bids and business development.

Leads process engineering activities for water and wastewater treatment projects. Responsibilities include developing process designs, calculations, specifications, PFDs and P&IDs; supporting process selection, equipment sizing and hydraulic assessments; supervising engineers; coordinating multidisciplinary teams; participating in HAZOPs and risk assessments; and supporting construction, commissioning, troubleshooting and performance testing while ensuring safety, quality, environmental and regulatory compliance.

Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams delivering complex nuclear projects across design, implementation, commissioning, life extension, and decommissioning. Act as Architect Engineer by developing engineering strategies, resolving technical challenges, managing interfaces and stakeholders, identifying risks, and supporting safety case alignment. Coordinate delivery against time, cost, quality, codes, and standards while supporting project resourcing, financial management, change control, and client outcomes.

Leads and improves Request for Information and Field Change Request processes, including governance, KPI monitoring, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement. Translates process requirements into tool specifications, supports system testing and deployment, chairs accountability meetings, and drives compliance and adoption across teams. The role supports nuclear power and major infrastructure programmes.

Develops and reviews nuclear safety cases, assessments, technical calculations, reports, and engineering arguments demonstrating safe facility operation and regulatory compliance. Leads HAZID and HAZOP studies, evaluates hazards and faults, supports nuclear licensing, engages with clients, regulators, and technical stakeholders, and mentors junior engineers. The role requires experience in highly regulated operational environments, knowledge of nuclear plant systems or structures, and familiarity with relevant design standards and assessment guidelines.

Amentum seeks active eDV-cleared professionals for project management, programme delivery, PMO, systems engineering, enterprise architecture, business analysis, and transformation roles supporting UK national security programmes. Candidates will work in multidisciplinary teams on complex, highly secure government projects, engaging stakeholders and delivering outcomes across the project lifecycle. Roles are based in London, South West England, or Manchester, with at least four days per week on customer sites and possible programme-related travel.
