Build and operate algo1’s platform infrastructure, including authentication and authorization, automated release engineering, cloud environments, APIs, webhooks, event-driven systems, and agentic development tooling. Design scalable distributed backend services, manage databases and real-time data streams, and support reliable customer-facing products. The role is office-based in London and involves close collaboration with platform, product, and engineering teams.

Design and build production agentic AI systems for shopper experiences, platform automation, and internal efficiency. Own agentic platform architecture, LLM evaluation strategies, context management, deployment, scaling, monitoring, latency, quality, explainability, cost, and token usage. Establish company-wide agent development practices and enable technical and non-technical teams to use AI tools safely. Collaborate with product, design, mobile, and machine-learning teams in an office-based London startup environment.

Build and own frontend-focused, full-stack web applications for B2B retail customers. Responsibilities include creating responsive real-time interfaces, simplifying complex AI capabilities, contributing to APIs and system design, and managing testing, observability, deployment, and post-release investigation. The role requires strong TypeScript and React expertise, real-time communication experience, cloud deployment skills, product judgment, rapid delivery, and experience using AI coding tools.
