Lead Aave Labs’ global compliance strategy across regulated and unregulated businesses, products, entities, and jurisdictions. Advise executives and Boards, oversee AML/CTF, sanctions, transaction monitoring, regulatory reporting, risk assessments, and compliance controls. Partner with Product, Engineering, Legal, Operations, and Commercial teams on new products and markets, manage regulator relationships, and ensure FCA fitness and propriety requirements are met for UK regulated entities.

Act as technical lead for partner integrations: scope, design, build proofs-of-concept, document reference architectures, troubleshoot integrations, and liaise between partners, product, and engineering to accelerate adoption.

Conduct attacker-driven security research on Aave protocol changes, smart contracts, integrations, and critical dependencies. Review architecture and code before audits or deployment, identify exploitable protocol risks, contribute to AI-assisted security tooling, and translate findings into invariants, testing, monitoring, and incident-response improvements. Collaborate with engineers, auditors, and monitoring teams while communicating risk, severity, uncertainty, and trade-offs clearly.
