Research has shown that people who undertake preparation for surgery are likely to have a lower risk of surgical complications, faster recovery from surgery and a lower rate of re-admission. Sometimes, preparation for surgery can help a person avoid surgery altogether. With that in mind, we’ve built Surgery Hero around the principles of behaviour change therapy. We offer whole-human support before and after surgery to ensure that our members have the opportunity to impact their own surgical outcomes.
