Provide UK and EMEA employment law advice across the employee lifecycle, lead investigations and pre‑litigation matters, develop scalable policies and tooling, monitor regional legal developments, support cross‑border employment and collaborate with global employment counsel and People teams.

Lead and scale Airwallex's global AML and sanctions policy, governance, and risk framework. Define risk appetite, enterprise risk assessments, data-driven thresholds, and oversight of automated compliance controls. Drive regulatory exam defense, executive risk reporting, cross-functional embedding of controls with Product/Data/Engineering, and build a global second-line team of compliance attorneys, modelers, and policy leads.

Lead the global obligations management function: build and maintain a centralized obligations register, RFI knowledge base, and audit register. Map regulatory and partner requirements to controls, ensure testability and traceability, drive remediation lifecycle, partner with regional legal and compliance teams, and scale an obligations team while implementing enterprise GRC tooling and automated compliance dashboards.
