Lead GitLab’s company-wide strategy for autonomous, agentic software development workflows. Identify and validate AI opportunities across the SDLC, build prototypes and reference architectures, establish evaluation frameworks and safety controls, and drive internal adoption. Partner across Engineering, Product, Infrastructure, Security, Architecture, and Data and ML teams to scale reliable, observable, compliant agentic capabilities into customer-facing products. Mentor senior technical leaders and represent GitLab externally on AI-assisted development and productivity measurement.

Build and maintain backend AI capabilities for GitLab Duo Chat: design flow components and agentic flows in Python/LangGraph, integrate LLMs and multi-agent orchestration, implement and maintain APIs in the Rails monolith, improve observability and reliability, and participate in on-call rotations and cross-functional collaboration to deliver safe, scalable AI chat features.

Design, build, and operate the high-availability event and trigger system that links GitLab and third-party events to AI-powered Duo Flows. Work in GitLab's Rails monolith, scale for high throughput, influence architecture, add trigger types, collaborate cross-functionally, and participate in Tier 2/3 on-call rotations to troubleshoot production issues.
