About BLAST

At BLAST, we’re all about creating extraordinary live and digital experiences — from arena-packing esports tournaments to unforgettable content that engages fans around the globe. We Make It Bold by challenging the norm and delivering fresh, creative formats that redefine what’s possible in the industry. We Make It Together by building close, collaborative partnerships with world-leading game publishers and brands to produce truly world-class results. And we Make It Happen by bringing energy, precision, and a problem-solving mindset to everything we do - across games like Counter-Strike, DOTA 2, Rainbow Six Siege, Rocket League, and Fortnite.
If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and share our passion for pushing boundaries, we’d love to hear from you.
The Team

You’ll join BLAST’s Growth & Audience team, working closely with content, production, social, and external partners to elevate our YouTube ecosystem. You’ll be the go‑to specialist for our suite of YouTube channels, collaborating across teams to optimise performance, streamline workflows, and support the expansion of our creator network
The Role

We’re looking for someone who understands YouTube inside and out - someone who knows what makes content perform, stays curious about platform trends, and is excited about connecting creators to opportunities. You’re organised, proactive, and comfortable balancing channel optimisation work with coordination tasks, with the ability to communicate confidently with creators.

In this hands‑on role, you’ll split your time between managing and improving our owned YouTube channels and coordinating the onboarding of gaming creators into our network. It’s a great opportunity for someone passionate about YouTube, comfortable working across multiple channels, and eager to gain experience in both content optimisation and creator partnerships within the esports industry.
Responsibilities

  • YouTube Channel Management & Optimisation
    • Support the day‑to‑day management of BLAST’s owned and operated YouTube channels
    • Implement YouTube best practices including SEO optimisation, metadata refinement, thumbnail strategy, and playlist curation
    • Monitor performance using YouTube Studio and Analytics, identifying opportunities to improve views, watch time, and engagement
    • Collaborate with content and production teams to optimise upload schedules and content strategies
    • Coordinate with third‑party partners supporting scale operations, providing strategic input and alignment
    • Stay up to date on platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging trends in gaming content
  • Creator Network Coordination
    • Conduct outreach to prospective gaming creators (approx. 20–30 emails per week) to invite them into the BLAST network
    • Coordinate onboarding for new affiliate creators, including CMS setup and administrative requirements
    • Act as a point of contact for affiliate queries, offering guidance on network benefits and processes
    • Maintain organised records of outreach, onboarding status, and creator communications
    • Collaborate with team members who may support outreach activities
    • Escalate technical or financial queries to the appropriate teams (e.g., Finance for reporting or complex issues)
  • General Responsibilities
    • Contribute ideas for growing both owned channels and the wider creator network
    • Maintain clear workflows and documentation for channel management and creator onboarding
    • Support cross‑functional teams with YouTube insights and recommendations
    • Stay engaged with gaming and esports culture to inform content and partnership approaches

Requirements

Essential

  • 2–4 years of professional experience working with YouTube (channel management, digital media, content coordination, etc.)
  • Hands‑on familiarity with YouTube Studio, Analytics, and CMS platforms
  • Strong understanding of YouTube SEO, metadata optimisation, and content discovery mechanics
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple channels and coordination tasks
  • Strong written communication skills for creator outreach and correspondence
  • Genuine interest in gaming, esports, and YouTube creator culture
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
  • Proactive mindset with strong attention to detail

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with gaming or esports content
  • Familiarity with MCNs or YouTube networks
  • Basic understanding of YouTube monetisation and content rights
  • Experience with creator outreach or partnership coordination
  • Knowledge of social media management tools beyond YouTube

Benefits
  • Competitive salary package
  • Enhanced parental leave
  • Pension and Health Insurance
  • Awesome central office in the centre of London
  • Team building and social events
  • Team breakfasts, snacks and soda
