Assist the Lead Document Management in EDMS tasks, prepare and track technical drawings and deliverables, perform entry-level 2D/3D drafting, manage document releases and archiving, facilitate information flow among project teams, and support handover per contractual requirements.
Job Overview:
This role will assist the Lead Document Management lead in completing the day-to-day activities and gain experience in the following work area such as Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) and develop basic technical skills to complete assigned work. As well as liase with Document Management Team, Engineering Teams, Suppliers and Subcontractors and Department Manager.
ResponsibilitiesKey Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Become familiar with technical aspects of the Contract and Project Team Requirements pertaining to Document Management and project delivery requirements (standards, procedures, EDMS, formats, etc).
- Assist in the preparation of detail drawings and deliverables of high technical quality and consistent presentation ensuring clarity and ease of construction.
- Entry level drafting and/or design. Interest in learning 2D and 3D software
- Accurately track, log, and distribute releases of both internal and external documentation including related metadata.
- Facilitates and expedites the timely flow of technical information amongst project team members and external parties such as the Client and Suppliers via the EDMS.
- Deliver information required for handover and turnover in accordance with project contractual requirements.
- Archiving of project records.
- Make recommendations for work improvement processes to Document Management Lead
- Gain experience in the following work areas:
- Design
- 2D drafting
- 3D drafting and/or model creation
- Develop basic technical skills to complete assigned work
- Other responsibilities as assigned

- Computer literate on Microsoft programs: Word, Access, Power Point, Excel, Adobe.

Preferred Qualifications and Education:
- Good knowledge of Electronic Database Management System (EDMS) software, MS office and Adobe.
- Working knowledge of industry utilized EDMS tools (if applicable).
