Xplore McCain - Global Procurement - Service Center
The Xplore McCain program is open to family and friends of McCain employees. Participants will join McCain for an 8-week period (starting on June 2, 2025 and running through July 25th) to learn about our organization, the world of work, and future career opportunities.
This position could be located in the Florenceville, New Brunswick, CA office. The Xplore participant will work a hybrid schedule, three days a week, in the Florenceville main office.
About the role .
We seek a motivated and detail-oriented individual to support Procurements involvement in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP). This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a global procurement team identifying S&OP practices across the various regions to support a standard global procurement S&OP model.
Accountabilities:

  • Assess procurements S&OP maturity in selected global regions with a focus on risk management, inventory policy, material requirement accuracy and vendor accountability
  • Document current state of Procurements global S&OP maturity
  • Identify best practices and areas of improvement at the regional level
  • Assist in the development of a global Procurement S&OP recommendation


Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate program
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency
  • 18+ years of age

Hybrid
Compensation Package : $23.00 - $26.00 CAD hourly
The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education/training, and other organizational needs.
