About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Enterprise Finance Partner Team at Worldpay, partnering closely with commercial and operational teams to ensure operational excellence and help the largest region to achieve its high growth expectations.
This role should act as the translator between Finance and the business; being able to effectively communicate through all layers of management, whilst delivering actionable insight and challenge to all stakeholders involved.
General duties & responsibilities
- Provide analytical rigor and bring strategic leadership to cross-functional or operational initiatives
- Exec level business partner with Gravitas to be involved in all key business decision and meetings. Provide critique and challenge plans on Market Expansion, RFPs, and strategic directions of our tier one accounts
- Leveraging financial background to support and influence key regional decisions
- Lead strategic and financial planning processes (e.g., Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews, Annual Budget, Forecasts, etc.)
- Provides meaningful executive level analysis of business performance and insightful supporting commentary
Develop and monitor KPIs, and communicate actionable insights to relevant stakeholders - Commercially analyses current portfolio performance, identifying opportunities for growth
Investment analysis and appraisals to support growth expectations - Own cost transformation/efficiency programs as relevant from a finance perspective
- Continuously considering opportunities for optimisation
- Become a trusted partner to the business
- Management of one analyst to support
What we are looking for?
- Qualified Accountant with 5+ years experience in a Finance Partner function
- Strong financial modelling and commercial acumen with ability to evaluate financial impact of business decisions.
- Commercial acumen and gravitas with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships.
- Experience in supporting and delivering cost transformation/efficiency programs
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint
- Commercial model and business case development preferred.
- Experience within Payments/Fintech industry preferable
- Organised self-starter, with drive and ambition who thrives under pressure, and is capable of confidently working alongside the most senior stakeholders across the wider business.
- Attention to detail, commitment to accuracy & adherence to deadlines.
