We’re looking for a Head of Workplace Technology and Support who expects more from their career. It’s a chance to extend and improve dunnhumby’s Technology Enablement Department. It’s an opportunity to work with a market-leading business to explore new opportunities for us and influence global retailers.

You will be responsible for leading a global team who are accountable for delivering exceptional end user computing services and support. Overseeing the full lifecycle of Windows and macOS client platforms, including endpoint management, automation, configuration governance, and end user productivity tooling while ensuring a secure, efficient, and user-centric technology environment.

In addition to managing the end user technology estate, you will be leading the performance and evolution of the IT Helpdesk and product support functions, ensuring timely, high-quality support for end users and business-critical applications.  Provide strong operational leadership, with a passion for driving continuous improvement, user satisfaction, and technology enablement across the organisation.

  • Oversee and govern a global Microsoft 365 Enterprise technology estate
  • Automate provisioning and governance of end-user hardware and software
  • Lead vendor management to enhance solution quality and cost-efficiency
  • Drive continuous improvement and change initiatives across IT operations
  • Drive the adoption of AI to enhance productivity and enrich the work experience. 
  • Champion employee and customer experience through technology and coaching
  • Implement cybersecurity measures to protect data and end-user technologies
  • Lead a high-performing team, setting clear goals and fostering development
  • Analyze performance metrics and support data-driven decision-making
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and deliver integrated solutions
  • Ensure compliance with technology regulations and manage operational risk

Essential skills

  • Knowledge of end-user systems and support tools
  • Technical experience with using Workplace Technologies
  • Ability to lead IT teams and manage performance
  • Clear communication with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with platforms like Microsoft 365, Azure, or Google Workspace
  • Customer focused and driven to improve employee experience
