Workplace Services Manager
What this job involves:
At JLL, we're looking for a detail-oriented Workplace Services Manager to support our facilities management operations for key client sites. In this dynamic role, you'll work alongside senior facilities managers to ensure the smooth daily operation of client facilities while delivering exceptional service that enhances workplace experiences. You'll assist with implementing facility management processes, coordinating facilities services activities, and supporting projects that improve operational efficiency while adhering to quality standards, safety protocols, and budget constraints.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Support day-to-day facilities management operations including coordinating all services activities, addressing occupant requests, and monitoring service delivery
Assist with vendor management, including scheduling services, reviewing work quality, and processing invoices
Conduct regular building inspections to identify and address potential issues before they impact operations
Maintain accurate facilities documentation including floor plans, equipment inventories, and maintenance records
Support budget management by tracking expenses, gathering quotes, and identifying cost-saving opportunities
Assist with implementing health and safety procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
Participate in facilities-related projects such as space modifications, equipment upgrades, or sustainability initiatives
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
1-3 years of experience in facilities management or related field
Working knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication abilities with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Customer service mindset with attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
Facilities Management certification (FMP or equivalent) or progress toward certification
Experience with CAFM/CMMS systems and work order management
Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to building operations
Experience coordinating with vendors and service providers
Background in customer service or client relationship management
Basic understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
Experience supporting sustainability initiatives in building operations
