The Role:

Depop is seeking a Workplace Manager at our London office to independently lead all aspects of our office operations and create programs, projects, and events that bring our inspiring culture to life.

This role requires a strategic leader with an exceptional eye for detail, organisational skill, and a deep commitment to enhancing the employee experience. From events, to food and facilities, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping a workspace and culture where people feel connected.

As part of Depop’s Workplace Team, a global group with expertise in building management, space design, operations, food sourcing, events, and safety. You’ll ensure our spaces reflect our values and enable our team’s best work. You’ll be a poised and decisive self-starter who uses Depop’s values and mission to drive decision-making, crafting an environment where our people feel supported and inspired every day.

Responsibilities

  • Lead front-of-house operations, including supervising staff and ensuring a warm, welcoming environment for all employees and visitors.

  • Lead and shape the workplace experience, ensuring events and activities are thoughtfully planned and executed to cultivate an engaging and dynamic environment for employees (including coordinating space bookings, and ensuring rooms are set up with the appropriate layout, signage, and materials in advance.)

  • Contribute ideas to evolve our workplace experience, aligning with our culture

  • Oversee Depop’s food programming, monitoring product consumption and rotation, collaborating with vendors to ensure timely and food-safe execution of service.

  • Support budgeting and purchasing decisions, sharing responsibility for maintaining a budget, building strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, and making thoughtful, cost-effective purchases.

  • Build and maintain internal documentation, including internet pages, tickets, processes, and templates, with guidance from management to ensure consistency and ease of use.

  • Champion and organise our culture, contributing your voice to the development and execution of workplace initiatives that reflect and promote our values.

  • Build and manage relationships with leadership, collaborating to articulate future plans and implement policies

  • Support office operations, including cleaning, security, and other facility services, building management, and external service providers.

Requirements

  • Ability to work 4 days a week in office

  • Previous exposure to workplace experience, operations, facilities management, ideally in a fast-paced and growth-oriented company.

  • Previous experience leading and implementing workplace programs, events, food programs and initiatives that improve employee engagement and foster a positive workplace culture.

  • Exceptional organisational skills and a true multi-tasker mentality, able to manage several projects simultaneously without compromising quality or deadlines.

  • Proven ability to think strategically, with a keen eye for process improvement, operational efficiency, and resource management.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of engaging and influencing diverse stakeholders

  • A proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving, with a strong ability to inspire change and improvements within the workplace.
