Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic leader to join our Wholesale Know Your Customer Operations (WKO) team in the EMEA region. This role offers the opportunity to shape KYC policy and drive strategic initiatives that enhance our operations and compliance.
As an Executive Director in the EMEA WKO Policy team, you will spearhead the modernization and review of KYC policies, ensuring they are in line with global standards and regulatory requirements. Your role will involve close collaboration with the Global Financial Crime Compliance (GFCC) and senior stakeholders to implement policy changes and enhance processes. Your leadership will play a crucial role in managing partnerships across the Commercial and Investment Bank (CIB), delivering results in a complex environment.
Job responsibilities:

  • Leads the EMEA WKO Policy team in assessing KYC policy changes and their impact.
  • Initiates and drives KYC policy revisions to modernize requirements.
  • Shapes operational execution as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Leads and delivers changes related to EU AML reform.
  • Oversees new processes and enhancements, ensuring risk mitigation.
  • Manages relationships with GFCC and innovates for optimal outcomes.
  • Fosters partnerships with stakeholders across CIB.


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Extensive experience in AML/Financial Crime disciplines with substantive KYC experience.
  • Ability to proactively assess and improve processes.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of risk management tools.
  • Strong analytical skills to drive initiatives to conclusion.
  • Ability to lead in a changing business landscape.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • BS/BA degree level education.

  • Demonstrated international experience with an understanding of global differences.
  • Experience in managing complex stakeholder relationships.
