What’s the role about?

As part of our Finance team, you’ll be joining as a Wholesale Finance Assistant to support the processing and management of wholesale reporting and sales invoices, under the guidance of our Financial Accountant.

Who you are

  • Possess wholesale experience, previously or currently within a similar role.
  • Experienced in reconciling different datasets and producing clear summaries for multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong proficiency in using Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in using Microsoft Business Central is beneficial, but not essential.
  • Organised and proactive, always seeking to follow queries through to completion.
  • Confident in improving processes and reporting, with a solution-orientated mindset.
  • Great interpersonal and relationship building skills. Able to deal with queries and provide ad hoc support as required.

What you’ll be doing

  • Support in processing and recording wholesale sales invoices to Reiss’ global partners, providing regular and timely reporting on any chargebacks or deductions.
  • Own the reconciliation of warehouse shipping data to the finance system and reconcile partner invoice portals to Reiss’ shipping records, proactively resolve any differences.
  • Collaborate with the wholesale team to address discrepancies and with IT to ensure that the EDI invoicing process for the US runs efficiently.
  • Process and manage sales invoices, credit, debit notes and COS data, ensuring accuracy and timely update of partners accounts. 
  • Work with stakeholders to improve processes and reporting, as well as managing the receivables ledger, allocating payments and overdue invoices from partners.
  • Handle payment processing including intercompany transactions and support with month end and year end intercompany reconciliation procedures. In addition to assisting our Financial Accountant in providing regular reporting on the wholesale business.
