Job Description

Role 
The Web and Content Manager will take ownership of the company’s primary website and portfolio of secondary websites. The role is responsible for ensuring all digital content is accurate, current, relevant and optimised for both traditional search engines and AI-powered discovery.

Working closely with the Communications team, wider business and external agencies, the role will deliver engaging web content that supports business priorities, new initiatives and brand objectives. The role will also contribute to the development of broader communications and marketing materials.

Key responsibilities

Primary website management

  • Own the day-to-day management and development of the company website.
  • Ensure website content is accurate, current, relevant and consistent with brand and editorial standards.
  • Optimise website content and structure for search engines and AI-powered platforms.

Content and communications support

  • Collaborate with the Communications team to plan, create, edit and publish high-quality content.
  • Support the development of marketing collateral, presentations and other internal and external communications materials.
  • Adapt content for different audiences, formats and channels while maintaining a clear and consistent tone of voice.
  • Provide editorial guidance and quality assurance across communications materials.
  • Support wider communications projects and priorities as required.

  • The ability to turn complex subjects into clear, compelling content
  • First-class organisation and the confidence to juggle multiple priorities
  • A structured mind, sound judgement and a relentless focus on delivery
  • A collaborative, flexible approach combined with the drive to work independently
  • Genuine curiosity about the energy sector and a desire to keep learning
  • A positive, personable style and a great sense of humour

You could come from a corporate communications or journalistic background. What matters most is that you combine editorial flair with exceptional organisation and have the energy to make things happen.
