Job Description:
The VP of Sales, EMEA will lead and drive the sales strategy for markets outside of North America, with a focus on EMEA. This senior leadership role will be pivotal in shaping the international growth strategy, expanding Elite’s footprint, and delivering significant revenue growth across diverse regions. The VP will be responsible for building and managing a high-performing, globally distributed sales team, cultivating strategic client relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet regional market needs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SaaS sales, a deep understanding of the legal technology landscape, and a proven track record of leading international sales teams to success.
What You'll Do:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the sales strategy for EMEA market opportunities, ensuring alignment with Elite’s global growth objectives and regional market dynamics.
- UK Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing international sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and collaboration across geographically dispersed teams.
- Revenue Growth: Own and drive aggressive revenue targets for international markets, focusing on both new business acquisition and expanding existing customer relationships in the EMEA.
- Global Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a robust international sales pipeline by implementing strategies to acquire new customers and expand relationships within key accounts in each market.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with global marketing, product, customer success, and operations teams to ensure alignment on international market needs, and deliver localized, best-in-class solutions to clients.
- Client Relationships & Partnerships: Cultivate strong relationships with senior stakeholders at top law firms, corporate legal departments, and other strategic clients across global regions, positioning Elite as a trusted and strategic partner.
- Sales Process Optimization: Continuously improve international sales processes, tools, and methodologies to drive efficiency, increase win rates, and adapt to region-specific nuances and market demands.
- Forecasting & Reporting: Provide accurate, timely sales forecasts and performance reports for international regions to the CRO and executive team, ensuring transparency and data-driven decision-making.
- Market Intelligence: Keep abreast of trends, competitors, and regulatory changes in the international legal tech space, using insights to inform strategy and drive competitive advantage.
- Travel required: Approximately 30%
What You'll Need:
- Proven Sales Leadership: 10+ years of sales leadership experience in SaaS, with at least 5 years in a VP-level role leading sales teams. (EMEA, or other global markets).
- Legal Tech or SaaS Experience: In-depth understanding of the legal technology market or similar enterprise SaaS environments, with the ability to tailor solutions to diverse international customer needs.
- Track Record of Success: Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets in competitive, international markets. Proven success in driving revenue growth and market expansion.
- Team Leadership: Exceptional people management skills, with experience building, developing, and motivating high-performing international teams. Ability to lead by influence and inspire global teams.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to craft and execute comprehensive international sales strategies, balancing global consistency with regional customization to drive growth across diverse markets.
- Collaborative Approach: Strong ability to work cross-functionally with global teams in a matrixed organization, and to influence key stakeholders across product, marketing, operations, and customer success teams.
- Customer-Centric: Proven ability to build lasting relationships with C-level clients in multiple regions, delivering exceptional value and positioning Elite as a trusted advisor.
- Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in using data and analytics to drive decision-making, manage international sales pipelines, and forecast accurately across diverse markets.
- Experience with Large Enterprise Deals: Experience managing complex, multi-million-dollar enterprise sales cycles and closing large, strategic deals with key global clients.
- Experience in Scaling Organizations: Experience working in a fast-growing startup or scaling SaaS organization, with a focus on expanding into new international markets.
