Role Overview

We are looking for a visionary, user-obsessed, and execution-focused VP of Product to lead OneFootball’s global product organization who will report directly to our CEO. You’ll own the strategy and direction across our entire product portfolio including our Media Platform, Subscription services, OTT Streaming, and Marketplace ensuring alignment with business goals and driving user growth, engagement, and retention at scale. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to build the biggest Football community through the application of Generative AI and state of the art deep learning approaches to content generation, recommendations and community building. 

This is a critical leadership role at the heart of the company’s mission, working cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing, and Commercial to build world-class digital football experiences. You’ll scale a talented team of product leaders and instill a culture of innovation, accountability, and measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Product Leadership
  • Define a bold, cohesive product vision that supports our long-term growth and reinforces OneFootball’s positioning in the digital football ecosystem.
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps for each business vertical (Media, OTT, Subscription, Marketplace) that drive user growth, retention, and long-term product excellence.
  • Champion a user-centric approach, leveraging market research, user feedback, and data analytics to inform product decisions and prioritize features that deliver the highest impact.
  • Be obsessed with engagement, deep usage, and value creation for the customers’ lifetime. 
  • Benchmark the business on metrics such as DAU, MAU while building towards relentlessly for the long term.


Product Execution and Business Impact

  • Take accountability for the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and ongoing optimization, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Establish and track key product metrics to measure success, inform iteration, and demonstrate impact on user growth, retention, and business performance.
  • Ensure tight cross-functional execution, partnering with Engineering, Design, Data, Sales, and Marketing to bring scalable products to market.
  • Balance the functionality to performance tradeoffs to build a delightful experience. 

Leadership and Team Development
  • Demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, with a proven track record of conveying complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences, including management, employees, and external stakeholders.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Product leaders, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Coach product leaders to excel in strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Build and scale a high-performing product organization, ensuring the right structure, talent, and processes are in place to support multiple business verticals.

Innovation and Product Excellence
  • Drive a culture of innovation, encouraging experimentation and rapid iteration to identify new opportunities for growth and differentiation.
  • Ensure all products deliver outstanding user experiences and maintain a high standard of quality and reliability.
  • Serve as the chief evangelist for the product function, articulating the value proposition internally and externally, and representing the user’s voice at the leadership level.
     
Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in senior product leadership roles (CPO, VP of Product, Head of Product) within technology-driven organizations, ideally in a high-growth, app-centric or multi-product environment.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing product strategies that drive user growth, retention, and monetization at scale.
  • Strong track record of building, leading, and mentoring high-performing product teams across multiple verticals and/or business models (ad-supported media, subscriptions, marketplace, streaming).
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
  • Experience collaborating with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to deliver complex products at scale.
  • Deep understanding of product management best practices, user research, and data-driven decision-making.
     

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Business, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Background in consumer apps, digital media, sports tech, or subscription-based services.
  • Familiarity with the football ecosystem, fan behavior, and content distribution models.
  • Familiarity with agile, lean, and design thinking methodologies.
