We are hiring a VP People & Talent to shape the next chapter of our growth.

Let’s fix hospitality, for good.

Hospitality is tough – margins are thin, waste is high, and teams are stretched. But it doesn’t have to be this hard. That’s why we built Nory.

Our CEO, Conor, felt the pain first-hand scaling Mad Egg. Fed up with clunky systems and spreadsheets, he built the tool he wished he’d had from day one.

Nory blends real-time data with AI to give operators full control of their margins. From prep to forecasting, it’s operational intelligence that helps restaurants run with certainty and profit. The result? Thriving restaurants, better jobs, less waste, healthier margins.

And we’re just getting started. Fresh off a Series B led by Kinnevik, we’re 80+ people across Ireland, the UK and Spain, and rapidly expanding into the US.

The VP of People & Talent is a strategic executive leadership role, sitting on the SLT and reporting to the Founder. You will lead and scale the People function, with the Head of People reporting into you.

You will shape the organisation for its next phase of international growth, ensuring we have the organisational design, leadership depth, structural clarity and performance standards required to scale into the US without losing speed or commercial discipline.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Design a scalable people infrastructure by setting and and overseeing a global talent strategy across all markets, ensuring hiring is disciplined, high quality, paced correctly and aligned to long term capability needs. Own and lead the international workforce strategy, building a cohesive, inclusive, engaged and high performance team across all geographies.

  • Design and evolve the organisational structure to support international expansion, including US market entry.

  • Provide executive partnership by acting as a strategic adviser and challenger to the Board, Founder and SLT, ensuring clear, data-driven visibility of workforce strategy, organisational health and talent risk to enable informed decision-making.

  • Coach and challenge senior leaders across all levels to develop leadership capability and succession depth across critical roles.

  • Embed a performance framework that drives measurable outcomes, accountability and a high-performance culture where high standards are consistent, and underperformance is addressed decisively.

  • Attract top talent by building a compelling employer brand and designing a competitive and commercially aligned total rewards strategy across markets.

  • Ensure compliance with employment law and regulations across jurisdictions. Define and steward our culture and values, ensuring alignment, consistency and behavioural clarity across all markets.

  • Build and scale robust people operations infrastructure, systems and governance to support efficient, data-driven international growth.

  • Mentor and lead the Head of People and wider people team.

What you’ll bring:
  • 15+ years of progressive People leadership experience, having led People at VP or equivalent level in a high-growth tech company, ideally post-Series B or beyond.

  • Knowledge and experience of growth and development, scaling organisations internationally (SME, high-growth, or multinational environments), including entry into new markets such as the US.

  • Proven ability to design and implement People systems on a large scale.

  • Deep knowledge of compensation, talent acquisition, organisational development, change management, and employment law.

  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.

  • You are comfortable operating at board and exec levels.

  • You’ve done international expansion before – and know how to make new markets click, culturally and operationally.

  • You can think long term while staying close enough to the ground to know where the friction is.

  • You’re AI-native – you don’t just tolerate new tools, you grab them to supercharge how we hire, onboard and scale.

  • You bring calm in the chaos – pragmatic, decisive, and clear under pressure.

Above all, you bring energy, urgency and ownership – the drive to keep Nory scaling fast without losing focus or culture.
