Description

Kody is growing rapidly across the UK and APAC (HK and China), with plans to expand into new markets including the US and EU. As we scale, operational excellence is key to delivering on our product promise, maintaining regulatory rigour, and keeping customers happy. We’re looking for a VP of Operations who can build structure where needed, drive process improvements, and act as a cross-functional force multiplier across the business.

Reporting into senior leadership, you’ll oversee key elements of our operational and customer functions, driving strategic initiatives while ensuring our service delivery, compliance, and internal operations scale effectively across multiple jurisdictions. This is a high-impact role with exposure to every layer of the organisation, from product delivery to risk oversight.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Drive operational strategy across multiple regions, with oversight of regional teams and processes spanning customer delivery, compliance, and internal operations.
  • Develop scalable systems and workflows that enhance customer-facing outcomes and improve internal efficiency across markets.
  • Lead and evolve cross-functional coordination between Product, Technology, and Customer teams to ensure exceptional end-to-end service delivery.
  • Champion the collection and use of client insights, performance metrics, and internal data to shape operational decision-making.
  • Oversee regulatory compliance frameworks across jurisdictions, with a focus on risk mitigation, onboarding standards, and process control.
  • Collaborate with leadership and regional leads to ensure operational models are aligned with market and customer needs.
  • Build and mentor high-performing teams, fostering accountability, autonomy, and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Act as a key escalation point for complex client and operational issues, owning strategic resolution planning.
  • Own and optimise the client onboarding journey and ongoing client lifecycle operations.
  • Contribute to strategic revenue growth by enabling Account Management and Customer functions with the tools, data, and process support they need to succeed.
Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years in senior operations leadership roles, preferably in high-growth fintech, SaaS, or tech-enabled services.
  • Deep understanding of multi-jurisdictional operations (ideally including APAC and UK).
  • Proven ability to lead and scale customer-facing operations and internal processes simultaneously.
  • Experience implementing compliance and risk frameworks that balance speed and security.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercially minded, data-led, and customer-obsessed!
  • Able to toggle between high-level strategic thinking and ground-level execution with ease.
Benefits
  • Access to £1000 per year for Learning and Development
  • Competitive salary and compensation package
  • Equity available
  • Great new office in London Bridge
  • Free lunch (and snacks) every day in our London office
  • A collaborative, inclusive environment where your contributions are recognised and valued
