Purpose Statement:  

Responsible for leading and managing all manufacturing operations within the EMEA region to ensure efficient and profitable operations to meet the current and future needs of the company.

Key Job Accountabilities:

  • Facilitate the implementation of corporate strategy at a regional level in order to achieve revenue, working capital, profitability and customer satisfaction objectives.

  • Provide strategic vision and guide tactical execution at the operational sites.

  • Assist sales and marketing to attract new business opportunities and present Plexus' strategy and capabilities to customers. Ensure successful launches of new programs s resulting in business growth, profit and customer satisfaction.

  • Establish a culture of quality focusing on zero defects while driving continuous improvement incorporating automation, innovation and safety

  • Evaluate and strengthen the managerial team through effective organizational design and talent development, mentor subordinates, and enhance overall management capabilities.

  • Responsible to exemplify and hold their team accountable to demonstrating the Plexus Core Values. Leader will focus on evaluating potential, driving succession planning, and ensuring their employees receive the development and coaching required to realize their full potential.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a(n) MBA or equivalent experience is preferred for this position; a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited institution is required

  • Experience of 15+ years is required for this position, assuming education requirements are met.

  • Equivalent industry experience of 5 or more years is highly desirable.

  • Have demonstrated the ability to effectively lead multi-site operations

  • Certified LEAN Sigma (from an independent certification company)

  • General management experience is required. Prior experience demonstrating effective management skills in the EMS industry is required.

  • Manufacturing, engineering, materials, sales, financial, and program management experiences and know-how, preferably within the EMS Industry.

  • Excellent ability to articulate a value proposition, inspire credibility with technically demanding customers, and connect at all levels with the company and key customers

  • Must be able to define, set, and communicate goals and priorities with sites, and hold site management accountable for reaching them.

  • A blend of small and large company experiences with well honed management skills, combined with team/collaborative decision-making ability.

  • An interactive management style with the drive and charisma to tackle problems head-on

  • Can be worked remotely anywhere within the EMEA region

Travel Requirements:

  • More than 40%
