We are looking for a highly strategic finance leader with a deep understanding of SaaS business, strong financial acumen, and the ability to drive strategic initiatives working closely with the CFO.

What you'll do

  • Serve as the CFO’s right-hand partner, delivering data-driven insights and recommendations that guide high-level decision-making and shape the company’s financial strategy.
  • Be a key stakeholder in annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes, ensuring rigorous scenario modelling and alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Create clear, impactful presentations for executives, board members, and external stakeholders - translating complex financial data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify business risks, opportunities, and areas for performance improvement.
  • Develop frameworks and metrics that enhance decision quality across the business.
  • Partner with the CFO to evaluate potential acquisitions, investments, and strategic partnerships.
  • Oversee financial due diligence, modelling, and integration planning to ensure value creation.
  • Proactively identify, prioritise, and champion high-impact initiatives (e.g., geographic expansion, pricing strategy, resource allocation), balancing risk with potential reward.
  • Shape the content and structure of key leadership forums (QBRs, Board Meetings), ensuring alignment on strategic goals, clear communication of financial performance, and follow-through on action items.
  • Partner with senior leaders in Product, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to establish financial targets, optimise resource allocation, and solve critical business challenges.
  • Hire, mentor, and develop finance professionals, promoting best practices in analysis, reporting, and strategic planning. Cultivate a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and accountability.

What you'll need

  • High level of experience, ideally in consulting
  • Thorough knowledge of P&L, cash flows and balance sheets
  • Experience working within the tech industry, specifically with B2B SaaS
  • Strong financial background; deep expertise in financial modelling and analysis
  • Proven ability to lead strategic projects and make data-driven recommendations
  • A keen eye for financial discrepancies and an instinct for when deeper analysis is needed
  • Ability to work autonomously and drive high-impact initiatives with minimal supervision
