We are looking for an experienced and driven VP Corporates Marketing, Europe to join our dynamic team to drive growth in our Corporates Europe B2B product portfolio. In this critical role, you will partner closely with the Head of Corporates Europe to drive business growth and sales, and with the full leadership team.   

 

The Corporates segment of Thomson Reuters serves corporate customers, from small businesses to multinational organizations, with a full suite of technology solutions for in-house legal, tax, regulatory, compliance, and IT professionals. 

This leader will be responsible for the business and marketing strategy for the European market, across all segments and products. They will be accountable for developing a comprehensive marketing strategy and a set of marketing programs and tactics to achieve financial and strategic objectives of the Corporates Europe business leveraging resources on their team and in partnership with centers of excellence in marketing and other functions, including: Sales, Finance, Strategy, Product Marketing, Content Marketing, Digital Marketing, Analytics and more 

 

Based in London, your strong business acumen, data-backed and strategic thinking, and deep understanding of the customer and market landscape will ensure strong delivery of B2B SaaS business growth. We are excited to hear from you!  

 

About the role

In this role as VP Corporates Marketing, Europe you will:

  • Deliver both short- and long-term revenue and pipeline targets, by creating and executing a marketing strategy aligned to Segment’s strategic plan and objectives across all European countries TR operates in. 

  • Deliver and execute against regional marketing strategies, accounting for language, key market channels, cultural norms, and TR product specifics. 

  • Deeply understand multiple customer segments required to support a multi-country strategy. 

  • Develop and direct marketing messaging, creative design, audience targeting, segmentation, and retargeting strategies to deliver effective results across multiple regions in Europe, and across multiple languages. 

  • Continuously optimize and seek for improved results to across key marketing metrics: QLs, appointments, created pipeline, progressed pipeline, conversion rates, sales, marketing efficiency (ROI) and engagement metrics  

  • Own all execution/operational marketing KPIs for Europe. Leverage thought leadership to elevate TR as a Leader in Gen AI, innovation and SaaS marketing. 

  • Partner with finance & analytics to define and track data and insights around acquisition and customer retention, consistently balancing both short and long-term results.  

  • Own and manage the European marketing budget, aligning investments to the overall European GTM strategy, and making tradeoffs and investment decisions alongside the Head of Europe.  

  • Build strong cross-functional alignment to drive strategies and success with field sales, customer success, services, and partner and product marketing teams. 

  • Inspire, empower, and develop a hard-working distributed team; optimize organizational structure and staff as required.  

 

 About you

To be considered for the role of VP Corporates Marketing, Europe you will need:

  • Experience leading distributed, global teams in a highly matrixed environment with a data-driven approach.  

  • Track record of delivering on pipeline KPIs in a fast-paced, quicky adjusting market, with tight partnership with the sales team.  

  • Extensive leadership experience in enterprise technology and cloud-centric industries; scale and sophistication of a large global business.  

  • A track record of success as an innovator and marketing strategist with strong experience in the technology industry.  

  • Demonstrated experience leading and growing a successful SaaS marketing organization of large scope, global reach, and complexity.  

  • Demonstrated experience in delivering on KPIs across multiple regions with language complexities. 

  • Confirmed experience driving marketing strategy and programs (thought leadership, demand generation) at scale.  

  • Experience managing large marketing budgets and aligning on tradeoffs/outcomes with sales leadership. 

  • Depth of knowledge and experience effectively crafting and running demand generation strategies, working closely with Sales and Product Marketing leadership.  

  • Steadfast focus on the customer experience.  

  • Deep understanding of marketing's role in delivering time-to-value as well as topline revenue.
