About GameChanger:

We believe in the life changing impact youth sports have on and off the field. Sports encourage leadership, teamwork, responsibility, and confidence – important life lessons that have the power to propel our youth toward meaningful futures. We recognize that without coaches, parents, and volunteers, organized youth sports could not exist. By building the first and best place to experience the youth sports moments important to our community, we are helping families elevate the next generation through youth sports.

So if you love sports and their community building potential, or building cool products is your sport, GameChanger is the team for you. We are a remote first, dynamic tech company based in New York City, and we are solving some of the biggest challenges in youth sports today.

The Position:

GameChanger is looking for a Vice President of Brand Marketing to shape and scale our brand as we enter our next phase of growth. You will build brand visibility and relevance, and do so in a way that is modern, authentic, and uniquely GameChanger. This approach will use content, organic social, creators, and community and avoid traditional, high-cost brand tactics. You will own upper-funnel brand strategy, including awareness, consideration, and brand-driven discovery. You will define and steward GameChanger's brand positioning, voice, and creative systems, ensuring they come to life across content, campaigns, and experiences. You will report to the Chief Commercial Officer and partner with Product, Growth, Communications, and Sales to ensure brand storytelling supports long-term adoption and value.

What You'll Do:

  • Own and evolve GameChanger's brand strategy, including positioning, voice, narrative, and creative systems that scale across channels and teams.

  • Lead upper-funnel brand growth, driving awareness, consideration, and brand-led traffic through compelling storytelling and creative excellence.

  • Build GameChanger into a social-first publisher, creating always-on content that grows followers, impressions, engagement, and share of voice.

  • Oversee influencer and creator marketing, developing authentic partnerships that extend reach and cultural relevance while activating our users as advocates.

  • Lead Integrated Marketing, Social, Content, and Creative teams, ensuring high-quality, on-brand execution and strong cross-functional alignment.

  • Drive measurable acceleration in social audience growth, engagement, and share of voice as primary leading indicators of brand momentum.

  • Own integrated planning and the marketing calendar, aligning launches, campaigns, and content across the business.

Who You Are:

  • 15+ years of experience in brand marketing, including foundational training in a CPG or similarly brand-led organization, combined with experience operating in a high-growth, resource-constrained environment.

  • Demonstrated experience building brands organically through social, creators, and community — with deep platform fluency (algorithms, content mechanics, and influencer ecosystems) and measurable audience growth.

  • Deep experience building consumer-facing brands at scale.

  • Experience defining and scaling brand voice, creative systems, and storytelling frameworks across teams and channels.

  • Experience leading Creative Services, Social Media, Influencer, and Integrated Marketing teams.

  • Comfortable operating with a publisher mindset, working at the speed of culture and modern platforms.

  • Experience managing senior leaders and versatile teams.

  • Passion for youth sports and the communities that surround them.

Perks:

  • Work from our well-furnished, modern office in Manhattan, NY.

  • Unlimited vacation policy.

  • Paid volunteer opportunities.

  • Technology stipend - $4,000 every 2 years after your start to make sure you have the latest and greatest technology.

  • WFH stipend - $500 annually to make your WFH situation comfortable.

  • Monthly physical, mental, wellness & learning stipend offered through Holisticly.

  • Monthly lifestyle stipend offered through Fringe.

  • Full health benefits - medical, dental, vision, prescription, FSA, HRA, HSA, and coverage for family/dependents.

  • Retirement savings - Traditional and Roth 401K plans are offered through Vanguard, with an immediate company match.

  • Life insurance - basic life, supplemental life, and dependent life.

  • Disability leave - short-term disability and long-term disability.

  • Company paid parental leave - up to 20 weeks for birthing parents and up to 12 weeks for non-birthing parents.

  • Family building benefits offered through Progyny.

  • DICK'S Sporting Goods and their family of brands teammate discount.

The target salary range for this position is between $225,000 and $250,000. This is part of a total compensation package that includes incentive, equity, and benefits for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by several factors including experience, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We constantly review all teammate pay to ensure a great compensation package that is fair and equal across the board.
