Video Editor, Future Studios (Truly)

Future Studios, the video space of Future, are one of the world’s leading producers of short-form factual and social content, creating and distributing digital content for huge global audiences, brands, clients and platforms.

We're looking for a Video Editor to join our team at Truly, the home of hit series including Born Different, Hooked On The Look, Transformed, Love Don’t Judge and My Extraordinary Family, which amass millions of views on Facebook, YouTube, Snapchat and TikTok.

What you'll be doing

Reporting to the Senior Producer, you'll edit short-form original digital documentary content, reversioning and optimising for social platforms such as Snapchat, YouTube, Facebook and TikTok.

You'll create projects that have great pacing and storytelling in short-form content, work with Edit Producers’ scripts to create award winning short-form documentary content and work with raw footage to create sync pulls, rough-cuts and assemblies.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve

• Experience working on short-form documentary content & social media reversions in various aspect ratios
• An understanding of different social media video platforms’ content and audience
• End-to-end editing of short-form video packages in Adobe Creative Cloud including offline, grading, audio mixing, and using music and graphics
• Experience of creating graphics packages
