Overview
The Vice President (VP), Finance Business Partner, Consumer Products & Processing (CPP), which reports to the Chief Financial Officer, Consumer Solutions will serve as the primary finance leader for the CPP organization, fully accountable for partnering with the Chief Consumer Products Officer, Product EVPs, Finance Directors, and cross functional teams to drive operational excellence, support decision making, and ensure disciplined execution of strategic initiatives. This role will ensure sound financial controls are in place, lead the CPP finance team, and maximize return on investment. Being able to analyze data, think strategically and provide leadership are key attributes for success as is the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders located across the globe.
Candidates should bring deep experience in business planning, forecasting, performance management; advanced financial modeling capabilities; the ability to synthesize complex information for senior leaders; and a proven track record of leading high-performing finance teams.
Role• Serve as the Chief Finance point of contact for the CPP organization, leading day-to-day financial partnership with each EVP and their teams.• Work closely with the business to identify, measure and deliver expense efficiency opportunities and drive process improvements.• Lead the CPP finance team in providing data-driven recommendations that shape product strategy, while advancing profitability.• Develop rigorous financial models and business cases to assess growth opportunities across strategic, operational, and financial dimensions.• Own the operating budget, forecasting, monthly/quarterly performance, and delivery of financial commitments, ensuring strong alignment across Product, Sales, O&T, Regional Finance, and FP&A.• Lead the development of performance packages, KPIs, long-range strategic planning inputs, and QBR/QOR Review deliverables• Maintain clear visibility into spending, risks, and opportunities in partnership with Regional Finance and FP&A• Consolidate and synthesize financial insights across CPP product groups to provide leadership with a coherent, integrated view of performance, risks, and opportunities.• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
All About You• Proven operational finance leadership in a complex, matrixed environment.• Deep experience in business planning, forecasting, and performance management.• Advanced financial modeling capabilities.• Ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights and recommendations.• Demonstrated history of thoughtful risk taking, business acumen, thought leadership, commitment, and strong sense of urgency• Executive presence, ability to influence others; demonstrated intellectual horsepower• Track record of leading high-performing teams; strong stakeholder influence skills.• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and making informed, calculated decisions.• Strong verbal and written communication skills.• High integrity with strong discretion in handling confidential information.• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related discipline, MBA or CPA Preferred.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more. Purchase, New York: $217,000 - $359,000 USD
