 Job Purpose

The role of the Vice President is to lead the day-to-day fund management across valuations, reporting and other portfolio management activities and value enhancement initiatives, transactions, investor comms for the private European core funds, primarily EIIF4 and Yield Fund, as well as various co-investment and SMA vehicles.

We will also consider candidates at Director level who meet the requirements. 

 

 Key Job Responsibilities

  • Lead day to day of management of EIIF4 and the Yield Fund
  • Develop initiatives to enhance yield and portfolio return
  • Preparation of reporting to a high standard and in a timely fashion
  • Regular and well-prepared communication with investors conducive to repeat business; including at AGMs, LPACs and one to one meetings
  • Prepare and present approval papers as necessary to boards and to Fund’s Investment Committees
  • Responsible for the delivery of accurate and timely investor reporting, capital statements, sustainability reports, etc ensuring compliance with fund documentation and internal processes
  • Responsible for accurate and timely valuations of each of the funds and vehicles
  • Responsible for accurate cash flow forecasting for the funds to manage liquidity, debt and dividend obligations
  • Delivery of investor presentations (including AGM and LPACs), facilitating ad-hoc investor meetings
  • Respond to investor queries in a timely and accurate fashion
  • Identification and management of yield and value enhancements and asset management initiatives to investments across the funds
  • Ad hoc transaction activity as required; including fund support required to effect acquisitions and disposals
  • Support the identification and support of strategic initiatives across the core platform Including new co-investments or SMAs.

 Skills and Qualifications

  • Significant and proven experience in infrastructure with strong knowledge and experience of project finance, complex transactions and across various sectors
  • Has reasonable knowledge of PFI accounting, valuations and managing transactions
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, able to engage at a Senior/Institutional Investor level
  • Strong external network and profile
  • Deliver accurate, quality reporting to meet tight deadlines
  • Degree qualified and can demonstrate a strong academic record (or equivalent)
  • Is proficient in Excel and working with detailed Excel project finance models
  • Advanced project management skills
  • Able to work on a variety of tasks concurrently
  • Able to manage complex processes and ensures the team manages conflicting priorities
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Experience of managing one or more junior colleagues
