Position Summary:
GIP is seeking to hire a Vice President to join its Digital Infrastructure Private Equity investment team.
Vice Presidents will play a key role in underwriting and managing investments on behalf of both GIP’s Flagship Fund and the Artificial Intelligence Infrastructure Partnership (AIP) fund.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Modeling: developing, utilizing, and analyzing robust financial models to support deal underwriting and deal structuring.
- Due Diligence and Execution: working with deal team members to assess and execute new investments. This will include conducting due diligence, financial review, preparation of presentation materials for investment committee, etc.
- Market Research: performing market research, including research on potential investments, industries, competitive positioning, etc.
- Portfolio Company Monitoring: assist in the monitoring of portfolio companies including analysis of corporate development, add-on, and financing opportunities, analyzing budgets, interacting with key members of management, and positioning business to be prepared for exit
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree with strong academic background
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment banking and/or private equity
- Previous experience in data centers, digital infrastructure, and/or TMT is required
- Superior analytical, financial modeling, and accounting skills
- Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- High level of professionalism, intellectual curiosity, collaboration, and self-awareness
- Enthusiasm and commitment to working in a team environment

Our hybrid work model
BlackRock’s hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all. Employees are currently required to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week. Some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities.
