For our Swiss site in Cham, we are currently looking for an experienced, all rounded VAT Analyst to support our businesses. They report to the Indirect Tax Lead and supports them with VAT declarations in Europe & UK, guaranteeing legal compliance and data accuracy for all VAT declarations.

The Role

  • Reconciliate the VAT Balance Sheet in several legal entities across Europe/UK.
  • Coordination with local VAT agents and Tax authorities.
  • Prepare timely and accurate VAT declarations and Intrastat reporting.
  • Support the Indirect Tax Lead in ensuring SOX compliance for the internal control system and external auditors.
  • Support the Finance Team in ensuring compliance to Cham standard operating procedures (SOP’s).
  • Multiple stakeholder management on across Catalent (direct contact with manufacturing sites, corporate oversight, service providers).

The Profile

  • Accounting or finance degree, with at least 3 years of experience in similar roles in an international environment.  
  • Expertise on VAT declarations in different legislations, but also good analytical skills to understand numbers.
  • Organizational skills; prioritizing important deadlines and guaranteeing on time delivery.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel and an ERP system (JDE or Qlik).
  • Knowledge on EU-VAT transactions is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English (both oral and written).
