Responsibilities

As a Senior UX Researcher, you will:

  • Drive UX research, design, and strategy during the early stages of the product lifecycle, up to the MVP stage, including research planning, recruiting, moderation, analysis, and reporting.

  • Conduct generative (participatory design) and evaluative (usability testing) research, leading user personas definition and user journey design mapping with Product Managers, SMEs, and Customers.

  • Set up, run, and report all aspects of qualitative and quantitative user experience research, ensuring decision-making based on gathered data.

  • Align UX strategy guidelines with global organization, industry, and international standards, and evangelize UX as a core function within the organization.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to co-design solutions, incorporating feedback from user testing and stakeholder reviews into design iterations.

  • Facilitate UX workshops, collect requirements, and co-design solutions, ensuring UX practices generate value and impact on the market.

Our Team

You will be part of the Delivery Management Product Management team responsible for incubating a new portfolio for airlines to:

  • Support the retailing transformation of the travel industry by delivering orders and airport experiences of the future

  • Enable travel experiences, operational efficiency, and brand differentiation for airlines with customer and journey centricity

You will be part of a core “incubation” team with Product Managers, UX, Solutions, and Pre-sales, working closely with our engineering counterparts based mostly in France and the UK, but also in India and Australia. Your responsibility and reach will be global, collaborating with customers, Product Managers, engineering teams, Solutions, and Pre-sales teams in all geographical markets and locations. You will report to our Head of Product.

Key Accountabilities

  • Translate user needs and business goals into intuitive user experiences through user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.

  • Organize and lead design workshops to define user personas and map user journeys using design thinking or similar methodologies.

  • Drive the UX vision, incorporating feedback from user testing and stakeholder reviews into design iterations.

  • Collaborate with product management, marketing, and sales teams to align UX strategies with customer expectations and business objectives.

  • Collect feedback, evaluate UX efficiency, and implement UX KPIs to identify and drive improvements.

  • Evangelize good UX practices and build strong relationships to influence and drive necessary changes within the organization.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in UX research, design, human-computer interaction, cognitive science, or related fields, or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience, including 2 as a lead UXR/UX, with a strong portfolio highlighting user-centered design solutions.

  • Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma) and knowledge of web analytics, personalization, A/B testing, heuristic analytics, and accessibility concerns.

  • Experience facilitating workshops (design thinking, ideation, focus groups, design sprints) with both customers and internal SMEs.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; English speaker (native or advanced professional level).

  • Autonomous, positive, and collaborative attitude, with the ability to evangelize UX within Engineering and Product organizations.
