Hybrid – 2 days a week in Dorking office
Or Dorking/Basingstoke hybrid
Salary - £45,000 - £50,000 per annum

Unum UK are recruiting a UX Design Consultant to spearhead the evolution of user experiences. 

As a UX Design Consultant, you will lead the UX design process by collaborating with cross-functional teams to define user needs and translate them into actionable design strategies. This role involves conducting user research, developing personas, and mapping user journeys to ensure a user-centred approach throughout the product lifecycle.

You will be responsible for developing and executing innovative UX strategies that align with Unum Uk’s business objectives while enhancing user satisfaction. Regular assessments and refinements of these strategies will be based on user feedback and analytics.

In addition, you will design and prototype high-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts, utilising tools like Figma to visualise ideas and facilitate user testing. Overseeing usability testing sessions will be crucial, as you gather insights to iterate on designs and improve the overall user experience.

You will also champion accessibility standards across all digital platforms, ensuring compliance with industry guidelines to create inclusive experiences for all users. Furthermore, your role will involve optimising user journeys by analysing conversion paths and user interactions to identify opportunities for improvement, collaborating closely with marketing teams to ensure that content resonates with users and aligns with brand messaging.
