We’re seeking a User Researcher to join our multidisciplinary Experience Design (XD) team, including Product Design, User Research, Content Design, and Design Systems. This role focuses on our B2B and B2B2C ecosystem, building a deep understanding of our Partners (Estate Agents) within a complex marketplace. You’ll shape product strategy through strategic and tactical research, embed insight into the product development process, and ensure Partner and consumer needs are represented clearly in decision-making across the organisation.
The Role:
- Focus on B2B and B2B2C relationships, building deep understanding of our Partners.
- Develop insight into estate agents’ needs, behaviours, and commercial realities, alongside consumer impact.
- Contribute to shaping product strategy through strategic and tactical research.
- Embed insight into the product development process to drive evidence-based decisions.
- Represent the voice of the Partner and end users across the product lifecycle.
- Report to and work closely with the Lead Product Designer.
What you'll be doing:
- Partner with the Lead Product Designer and Head of Product to lead research projects that help shape product direction for the short and long-term.
- Collaborate with Lead Product Designer, Head of Product, and Senior Product Manager to inform roadmaps.
- Align research efforts with strategic business objectives and key results, and uncover insights for continuous improvement across the user experience.
- Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative research.
- Lead generative discovery research and evaluative research for optimisation.
- Develop and evolve research systems including UX metrics, segmentations, templates, and accessibility standards.
- Strengthen recruitment processes and panel management for diverse participation.
- Maintain and evolve the research & insights repository.
- Triangulate insights with Data and Analytics, Market Research, Customer Experience, and Sales.
- Deliver compelling and accessible storytelling of research insights.
- Mentor Product Designers and cross-functional partners in user research.
- Champion inclusive and accessible design practices.
- Collaborate with Users Researchers to elevate research standards across the team.

- Strong communication and storytelling skills, tailored to influence various audiences.
- Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods, with strong analysis and synthesis skills.
- Strategic thinking, able to balance user insights with business needs.
- Empathy-driven relationship building with users, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Curiosity and creativity in exploring new technologies and approaches, including the responsible use of AI in research.
- Experience in scaling user research operations, frameworks and improving ways of working.
- Strong advocacy for inclusive design and accessibility in research.
- Passion for advancing user research as a practice and staying updated on industry trends.
- Adaptability and flexibility in shifting priorities based on evolving needs.
